I don’t really know what to say about this other than I never thought the first book I published (really, self-published) would be a children’s book about poop. But guess what: sometimes we do things in life we didn’t expect ourselves to do!
Seriously, though, I’m super happy with how it turned out—it’s beautiful, fun and educational! And I definitely plan on giving a copy to the children of all the parents whom I would like to make a little uncomfortable. I think this is the perfect gift to give someone else’s children this Christmas!
For the story of how I came to write this book, see:
Before you rush to get 10 copies, I have a proposal for you
Become a paid subscriber, and I’ll send you a free copy!* I know, $75 is more than $19.99, but you’d also be supporting my other creative work, and that would mean a lot to me! (I could also say to my wife, “See, people can make money writing stuff!”)
*If you’re already a paid subscriber, let me know where you’d like me to send you your free copy.
Want to order a copy of “What Do You Do with Your Poo?” Click the button!
You can also find the book on other book selling websites such as Amazon, but if you order directly from the Ingram Spark website, I get a better return from the sale (and you’re not handing money over to Jeff Bezos).
Failed unboxing video
For a good laugh, I’m sharing my first attempt at an unboxing video, which was a huge fail. I was soooo excited to see the very first copy of my book, only to open the package and pull out…siding samples. :(
My wife and daughters thought this was hilarious…
